My University Event Choices Tier List
A grade for every popup so you stop donating prestige to a leadership car.
This list is the short cousin of the random events guide and the event advisor. When a popup is already on screen, you want a letter, not a speech. Grades assume an early or mid campus. A late 985 save can take risks this list still marks as B.
S tier: take them
Official-site promotion, Women’s Day, Christmas, office computers, academic exchange, Qixi, monks, wellness / sub-health, and the vaccine event. These raise loyalty or prestige for a click. Academic exchange is a probability event with a friendly rate; it still belongs in S because the payout is the resource the white school icon eats.
Pyramid-scheme fake compromise, smoking dismissal, and thesis keep-going sit in S for principal ability. They are not money. They are stats you will want when later dice appear.
A tier: safe extras
Sports equipment is a free accept with no bonus. Take it to clear the queue. Other small loyalty gifts that do not spend cash belong here until a patch changes them. School activities you started on purpose are not random events; keep those running from Getting Started.
B tier: late-game only
Leadership inspection is B only after the campus is rich. Early, it is F. The failure rate deletes prestige you needed for school upgrade. Venue lease is B on a finished map with spare lots and F on a growing one. Treat both as B in the list and F in your first decade.
C tier: flavour
Halloween is C. Supporting it does not build the prestige a rank gate wants. Click it only if you are collecting stories. Most other costume holidays that players have not listed as loyalty gifts belong here until proven.
F tier: refuse
Early leadership inspection, venue lease on a growing campus, and the three bad school-enterprise firms. These taps look like content and then invoice you. Researcher assignments in the 55–64 band are F even though they are staffing, not holidays; the funeral popup feels like an event. Hire academy staff from the faculty age window instead.
How this list stays honest
We do not add rows from rumour screenshots. If July 2026 or a later patch changes a rate, the Updates Hub will say so and this list will move a letter. Official groups on the links page sometimes argue a firm name; until the developer posts a counter, the bad trio stays F.
Use the building list when the popup is not an event but a construction argument. Use the opening list when you are still on the title screen. Codes are not events; the codes hub will not invent one to fill this table.
A letter is a brake pedal. Tap it, then go back to the canteen. The campus is single-player. The only person who sees a brave F-tier Yes is you, and you will see it again on the prestige graph.
If two popups stack, resolve the F-tier refuse first. A loyalty holiday can wait one screen. An inspection cannot. If you are mid-rank paperwork, open the white school icon after every refuse so you know whether you still have a prestige buffer. The first-decade checklist has a box for this habit. Sports meets and club awards are not in the letter table because they are calendars, not surprises; treat them as work on the sports center page. When a new holiday name appears after a patch, do not guess S. Park it in C until player notes repeat a loyalty or prestige number we can print. Guessing is how this list would become fiction, and fiction is how a 211 year dies.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers principals ask after the first bankrupt year.
What are S-tier My University events?
Official-site promotion, loyalty holidays, academic exchange, vaccine, and the principal-ability choices on schemes, smoking, and thesis trouble.
Is a leadership inspection ever S?
No. It is F early and B only on a rich campus. It is never a free prestige gift.
Where is the longer event write-up?
The random-events guide and the event advisor tool. This page is the letter grades only.
